About

Welcome — I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.
Reaching out for support is an act of courage and self-respect, and you’ve already taken an important first step toward your own healing and growth.

I deeply believe that the connection between therapist and client is itself a healing component, and that finding the right fit is essential for both of us. So a little about me: I am a person-centred, mindfulness-based, and trauma-informed counsellor who believes that healing unfolds in the presence of safety, compassion, and genuine connection. My approach is gentle and grounded — guided by the understanding that our nervous system needs to feel safe before we can truly explore or change anything. Together, we work in a way that feels manageable, supportive, and attuned to your needs.

I deeply believe that each person already carries the wisdom and resources they need within them. My role is not to “fix,” but to walk alongside you — offering guidance, curiosity, and care as you rediscover your own inner strength, clarity, and resilience. I am particularly passionate about supporting people on their journey from struggling or surviving to truly thriving — finding more energy, joy, and a deeper connection to themselves and their lives.

In our work together, I bring attunement not only to your thoughts and story, but also to your whole-body experience — the sensations, emotions, and subtle signals that live in the body. These are powerful sources of information and often hold the key to understanding and healing what words alone cannot reach.

My work is rooted in mindfulness and presence. I trust that healing happens through reconnection — with a sense of safety within yourself, with your body, how you relate and attend to your thoughts and emotions, and with the world around you. With this foundation of safety, empowering and healing perspectives of your experiences naturally unfold.

I started a private mindfulness coaching practice in 2015 and have also developed and taught mindfulness meditation courses and workshops to physicians, parents, caregivers, and the general public. I continue to develop curriculum for schools and programs with a focus on modalities that support mental health, mindfulness training, and trauma-informed practices.

I identify as a white, cisgender, settler woman (she/her) living and practicing on the unceded lands of the Ktunaxa and Secwépemc Nations, and on the chosen home of the Métis Nation Columbia River Society. This land has been cared for since time immemorial by these Nations. I honour their histories, resilience, and enduring connection to this place. I am committed to ongoing learning and reflection to help decolonize my practice and create spaces that are culturally responsive, inclusive, and socially just.

Above all, I hold deep respect for the courage it takes to show up for yourself — and I honour the trust it takes to let someone walk beside you on the path from surviving to truly thriving.

I am honoured to be doing this work and would love to meet with whomever feels truly drawn, ready and willing.
