It is my deep joy and honour to be supporting others to discover their own capacity to heal and become more present in their lives with mindfulness practices and clinical hypnotherapy.
I have studied and engaged in different aspects of spirituality and meditation for over 20 years. However, when my 3 children were infants, I had a profound experience of awakening/self-recognition that started an ongoing deepening in my understanding and experience of who I am beyond my egoic identity. This has helped me meet the full spectrum of life with more openness, spontaneity and peace. I have such gratitude for my teachers Gangaji and Eli Jaxon-Bear who I am continuing to deeply learn from.
With a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in Environmental Education and Communication, I have spent the last 20 years teaching/guiding in academic and wilderness settings. However, for the past 4 years, my attention has been devoted to cultivating a mindful awareness in daily life, and spiritual awakening. I started a private mindfulness coaching practice in 2015 and have also developed and taught mindfulness meditation courses to physicians, parents and the general public.
I recently graduated from the Leela School with a certificate in advanced clinical hypnotherapy. As a Leela therapist, I am able to offer the presence of a quiet mind and an open heart, which facilitates clients’ own awareness of where they are painfully caught in the limitations of an egoic identity ~ and of the possibility of accessing the deeper, more conscious truth that is always present.
I have found that the effect of combining mindfulness practices with various interventions used in clinical hypnosis to be truly astounding ~ deep breakthroughs occur where clients find clarity, inner resilience and the incredible relief of peace.
I am honoured to be doing this work and would love to meet with whomever feels truly drawn, ready and willing.
